SPEA’s two bargaining units represent engineers, scientists, technicians and technologists.

CAMBRIDGE — BWXT Canada has been awarded a $55-million contract to supply feeder pipes for the Darlington nuclear power plant.
 

Under the contract with a joint venture of SNC-Lavalin and Aecon, the Cambridge company will supply feeder assemblies for units 1, 3 and 4 of the power plant in Bowmanville.Feeder pipes transport heavy water coolant between the reactor and steam generators.
